Vacancy Description: An Administrative position has become available at a well-known charity shop in Edinburgh. The contract is ongoing. Basic day-to-day duties will include dealing with inbound and outbound calls, answering customer enquires over the phone, via email, in-person and by letter, data entry and using Microsoft Packages. Role details: Communicating with customers clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, using appropriate language, focusing on the companys objectives. Managing your own workload effectively and taking the initiative to solve problems, whilst recognising organisational boundaries. Committing to achieving high quality results and see enquiries through to conclusion. The post holder should either be a non-smoker or be prepared not to smoke in any charity premises, grounds or vehicles. Adhering to all health and safety and fire regulations and to co-operate with the charity in maintaining good standards of health and safety. Adhering to all company policies and procedures at all times. ESSENTIAL: A valid DBS. Confidence on the phone. Great customer service skills. Experience with cash handling. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Packages. Shifts: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm. Pay Rate: 9.20 per hour.
