Vacancy Description: MIG Welder Our client requires welders deliver using a variety of processes a high quality, consistent and competent welding service in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. Key responsibilities and accountabilities • Analyses engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding equipment, settings and methodology to manufacture products from a range of materials. • Apply knowledge of welding techniques and processes to configure equipment to weld components in flat or vertical positions without warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion. • Ensure the quality of the weld meets the required specifications and tolerances by pre inspection of all relevant grooves, angles, or gap allowances. • Use initiative and work without direct supervision however report immediately to line supervisor any equipment, material, project, environmental or health and safety issues that may arise. • To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company. KPI’s • Meeting and satisfying Company quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. • Meeting and satisfying Company HSE requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. Health and Safety responsibilities • Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation. • Comply with Company HSE policy and procedures at all times • Lead by example and promote Company HSE policy and procedures. About you • Skilled/Semi-skilled/part qualified welders with a solid career in welding. • Ability to carry out duties required with no training required • Skills in welding both light and heavy gauge material
