  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
  • Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch break

    The Opportunity

    AllNeeds Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaner to join a busy industrial facility based in North Lanarkshire.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial operative to secure a temporary to permanent role within an established and growing operation. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and operational efficiency across the facility.

    This hands-on role would suit someone with previous experience working within industrial, manufacturing or chemical environments. Knowledge of handling chemicals and working safely around hazardous substances would be highly advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out industrial cleaning duties across the facility to maintain safe and efficient working conditions
  • Cleaning machinery, plant equipment and operational areas using appropriate cleaning methods and materials
  • Handling and working around industrial chemicals in accordance with safety procedures
  • Assisting with waste management and safe disposal of chemical materials where required
  • Operating forklift trucks and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment safely within the facility
  • Supporting general housekeeping and maintaining high site cleanliness standards
  • Reporting any equipment faults, hazards or safety concerns to management
  • Following all site health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
  • Supporting wider site operations as required

    Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within industrial cleaning, manufacturing or heavy industry environments
  • Valid, in-date Forklift Licence / Ticket (essential)
  • Valid, in-date Overhead Crane Licence / Ticket (essential)
  • Good understanding of safe working practices within industrial environments
  • Knowledge of chemical handling / COSHH procedures (highly desirable)
  • Strong awareness of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards
