  • Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: ASAP

    The Opportunity

    AllNeeds Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mini Digger Operative to support ongoing projects across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to secure consistent full-time work within a busy civil engineering and utilities environment. The role is initially temporary for a minimum of 6 months with ongoing work available for the right candidate. Successful candidates will travel to site using company transport with van pick-up available from South Ayrshire.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Operating mini diggers safely and efficiently across active project sites
  • Carrying out excavation and trenching works in line with site specifications
  • Assisting with drainage utilities and groundwork preparation
  • Supporting reinstatement and backfilling activities as required
  • Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting faults or maintenance issues
  • Working closely with site supervisors groundworkers and wider site teams
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with site plans and health & safety procedures

    Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience operating mini diggers / excavators within construction civils or utilities environments
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Mini Digger Ticket (essential)
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred / essential if driving company transport)
  • Strong awareness of excavation safety and underground services
  • Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site instructions
  • Reliable punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
