  • The successful candidate will bring a strong mixed tax background combining technical knowledge with a proactive and client focused approach. You will play a key role in managing tax compliance delivering strategic tax advice and supporting a varied client portfolio across multiple tax disciplines.
  • The role offers hybrid working although the successful candidate will be expected to work full time in the office for the initial three months to fully integrate with the team familiarise themselves with the business and build strong working relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
  • Overseeing the preparation review and submission of tax returns
  • Providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
  • Advising on a broad range of tax matters including personal corporate capital gains inheritance and business tax
  • Ensuring compliance with current UK tax legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting clients with HMRC correspondence enquiries and tax related matters
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and efficiencies for clients
  • Building trusted client relationships through high quality service and professional advice
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to wider team development
  • Keeping up to date with legislative changes and industry developments

    What We Are Looking For

  • CIOT qualification essential
  • Minimum 3+ years experience within a tax focused role preferred
  • Strong mixed tax background across personal and corporate tax
  • Excellent technical understanding of UK tax legislation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Commercial awareness with a client focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team
