  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
  • Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary with ongoing permanent opportunity available
  • Start Date: ASAP

    AllNeeds Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a well-established childcare setting within North Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the setting while encouraging children to develop socially, emotionally, and educationally through play-based learning and structured activities.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines and activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Observing and recording children’s progress where required
  • Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are always followed
  • Supporting indoor and outdoor learning activities

    Requirements

  • Previous experience working within an early years or childcare environment is essential
  • Relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
