This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established team with a strong pipeline of projects and genuine long-term prospects.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on individual who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work. The successful candidate will support site teams across multiple active projects, splitting time between driving duties and general site labouring responsibilities.
This is a key support role within the business, offering stability, development opportunities, and an excellent overall package.
The Role..
You’ll be responsible for supporting projects from initial site set-up through to final clean-down and handover, ensuring materials, equipment, and teams are where they need to be safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Site Set-Up & Dismantling
Setting up new sites including welfare units, fencing, signage, storage areas, and safety stations
Assisting with site breakdown and completion works
Loading out materials and returning equipment and hire plant
Supporting safe storage and organisation of tools and materials
Assisting with traffic management where required
Site Cleaning & Housekeeping
Daily site tidying and waste segregation
Loading skips and clearing debris from work areas and access routes
Maintaining clean and stocked welfare facilities
Carrying out end-of-project deep cleans ready for handover
Labouring Support
Loading and distributing roofing and construction materials safely
Assisting with roof stripping and material removal
Supporting tradespeople with moving, positioning, and preparing materials
Assisting with small access equipment where trained
Working in line with site safety and working-at-height procedures
Deliveries & Materials Movement
Driving company vehicles between sites, suppliers, and the yard
Collecting and delivering materials, tools, and plant equipment
Checking deliveries and reporting shortages or damaged items
Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported correctly
Completing vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness standards
Health & Safety
Following all site safety procedures, inductions, RAMS, and safe systems of work
Using PPE correctly at all times
Supporting a safe, professional, and respectful working environment
What We’re Looking For
Full UK driving licence
Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer minimum)
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
Comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Able to work safely and follow instructions
Desirable Skills & Experience
Previous experience on roofing or construction sites
Working at Height / Harness training
Asbestos Awareness certification
Manual Handling or First Aid training
Forklift or Telehandler certification
PASMA or scaffold user qualification
