    Role Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Greenkeeper to join their established grounds maintenance team. This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience on fine turf greens and competence with modern machinery. Working contracts across bowling greens and golf courses. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces, ensuring presentation, performance, and turf health standards are consistently achieved across all contracts.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of bowling greens and golf course playing surfaces
  • Turf management, including feeding programmes and seasonal maintenance
  • Fertilise and cut fine turf greens
  • Operation of modern specialist machinery
  • Must be able to fertilise and cut greens
  • Working independently across various contracts while maintaining high standards of workmanship

    Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working as a Greenkeeper (professional experience)
  • Strong knowledge of turf care, feeding schedules, and surface preparation
  • Experience operating specialist modern machinery
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 3-5 years working on fine turf greens
