Role Overview AllNeeds Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CAD Operator for a short-term, four week contract. This role is an immediate start, candidate should be confident working to tight deadlines, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced technical environment. The successful candidate will provide CAD support to an established team, producing accurate and timely drawings while maintaining high professional standards throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate CAD drawings in line with project specifications and deadlines
  • Update, amend and revise existing drawings as required
  • Interpret technical information, sketches and instructions from engineers or project teams
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, procedures and quality requirements
  • Manage workload effectively to meet agreed timescales
  • Maintain organised drawing records and version control
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify design requirements
  • Work efficiently and professionally within a fast-paced environment

  • Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CAD Operator (essential)
  • High proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities
  • Professional, reliable and committed for the full contract duration
  • Immediately available or available at short notice
