Vacancy Description: Experienced Groundworker

  • Job Type: Permanent (3-month probation period)
  • Location: Projects across South West Scotland & North England
  • Hours: Monday to Friday | 45 to 50 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: £16 to £19 per hour (DOE) + Overtime (after 10hrs)

    The Role: AllNeeds Recruitment is currently recruiting Experienced Groundworkers for permanent positions with a well-established and growing contractor operating across South West Scotland and North England. These roles offer long-term stability competitive rates of pay and excellent progression and benefits for the right candidates. Following a successful 3-month probation period employees will be enrolled into the company pension scheme. After one year of employment employees will also be eligible for private healthcare.

    Key Responsibilities: You will be involved in a wide range of groundworks activities including:

  • Carrying out drainage installations and repairs
  • Concrete works including laying finishing and polishing concrete slabs
  • Ducting installation
  • Kerbing and landscaping works
  • Operating plant and machinery (where certified)
  • Working safely and efficiently in line with site regulations
  • Supporting site teams to deliver projects on time and to specification

    Essential Experience & Requirements: Applicants must have proven hands-on experience in:

  • Drainage works
  • Concrete works: including laying and finishing polished concrete slabs
  • Ducting
  • Kerbing
  • Landscaping
  • Confined space certification
  • First Aid qualification
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • The following are highly desirable: Plant tickets

    Candidates without the essential experience listed above will not be considered. Working Away Allowance

  • Projects across South West Scotland and North England
  • When working away a subsistence allowance of 25pounds per day is paid for each day away including Fridays
