Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking for flexible working hours while remaining hands-on within a busy and supportive office environment.

The successful candidate will have practical experience using Sage and Xero, and will support payroll processing alongside credit control and general administration duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintaining employee records and payroll documentation
  • Using Sage and Xero payroll systems confidently
  • Managing credit control activities, including invoicing and chasing payments
  • Supporting general office administration and data entry
  • Responding to payroll and payment queries professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal procedures
  • Working collaboratively as part of a small team

    Candidate Requirements

  • Hands-on experience using Sage and Xero (essential)
  • Previous payroll processing experience
  • Experience with credit control and administration preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently when required
  • Comfortable working in an office-based environment
