Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Licence: ADR Licence preferred
Pay: £12.30 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Driver to join a dedicated team providing professional pet collection services on behalf of our client. This role requires a sensitive and respectful approach when handling and interacting with veterinary practices ensuring every collection is managed with care and professionalism.
An ADR licence is preferred due to the nature of the collections but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Collect from veterinary practices with professionalism respect and empathy.
Complete all required documentation accurately including waste transfer and consignment notes.
Safely handle and transport individual and communal cremation collections.
Return ashes to veterinary practices as required maintaining excellent client relationships.
Conduct daily vehicle checks reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Keep vehicles clean well-maintained and presentable at all times.
Support general yard duties and team operations when needed.
What We are Looking For:
Full clean driving licence
Compassionate and respectful approach to the role
Strong communication and attention to detail
Comfortable completing paperwork accurately
Level of physical fitness required for loading and unloading
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
ADR or HazChem experience (preferred or willingness to train)
