Overview Due to our clients ongoing expansion we are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver/Remover to join their growing team. This role combines skilled HGV driving with hands-on removals work supporting both domestic and commercial moves. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence (CPC and digital Tacho card) with a strong commitment to safety efficiency and customer service. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals who enjoy variety teamwork and delivering excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities • Driving: Safely operate HGV vehicles to transport goods and belongings to various destinations. • Removals: Assist with all aspects of domestic and commercial moves working as part of a removals team. • Packing & Wrapping: Pack wrap and protect customer belongings with care including fragile or high-value items. • Loading & Unloading: Safely load and secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage in transit. • Furniture Assembly/Disassembly: Dismantle and reassemble furniture or equipment as required. • Customer Service: Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner ensuring clients feel supported throughout the moving process. • Safety & Compliance: Carry out daily vehicle checks maintain accurate records and comply with all road transport and health & safety regulations. • Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle checks (oil water tyres) and report any defects promptly.

Candidate Requirements • Licences & Certification: Valid HGV Class 2 licence (CPC card and digital Tacho card). • Experience: Previous experience in removals or a physically demanding driving role preferred. • Fitness: Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting packing and manual handling duties. • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours including occasional nights away. • Professionalism: Reliable punctual with excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Customer Focus: Friendly polite and committed to delivering high-quality service.
