Our Client are a well-established Building Contractor / Civil Engineering company known for delivering infrastructure and groundworks projects across commercial, and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and a focus on quality, innovation, and safety, we are now looking to grow the team with a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator / Engineer.

  • Role Overview: As a Project Coordinator/Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of Building and Civil Engineering projects from planning through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, you’ll help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards throughout the South of Scotland
  • Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and handover of projects Prepare and manage project documentation including programmes, risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and workflow Monitor project timelines, costs, and resource requirements Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure works meet specifications, HSEQ standards, and contractual obligations Assist in procurement and material scheduling Identify and resolve technical or logistical issues that may impact delivery Maintain accurate records of project performance and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Requirements: Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline Proven experience in a similar Project Engineer or Project Coordinator role within civil engineering Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and regulations Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Proficient in project planning software (e.g….) Full UK driving licence
  • Desirable: CSCS card and relevant health & safety qualifications Experience with infrastructure, drainage, groundworks, or roadworks projects Knowledge of NEC or other relevant contracts
