Vacancy Description: Job Title: Deputy Production Supervisor Seeking an enthusiastic and capable Deputy Production Supervisor to join our Clients growing team. This hands-on leadership role supports the Production Supervisor and Production Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a motivated team, and ensuring high standards in production efficiency, safety, and quality. Youll play a key role in managing workflow, supporting staff development, and helping to maintain the commitment to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the daily work of the production team Assist in implementing and improving production procedures and efficiency Help prioritise tasks and communicate clearly to the team Support GMP and health & safety training and compliance Operate and assist with the set-up of packaging machinery Complete and maintain accurate production and packaging documentation Troubleshoot equipment issues and support workflow continuity Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs Collaborate with supervisors and managers across departments What Were Looking For: Previous experience in a similar supervisory/production role is desirable Strong leadership and motivational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in decision-making and delegation Calm, solution-focused approach to performance and people management Outstanding attention to detail Strong organisation and time-management abilities IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Additional Details: Probation: 3-month probationary period to assess performance and training Benefits Include: 33 days annual leave (pro rata) Workplace pension Health Care Plan (Employee Assistance Programme) Group Life Assurance (after 3 months) Company sick pay (after 12 months) Staff discount Long service annual leave reward Ready to take the next step in your production career?
