Vacancy Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Mixed Veterinary Surgeons to join our clients friendly and progressive practice. This varied role involves a mix of small animal consultations and surgeries along with routine and emergency work with farm animals and equine patients. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced vet this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative team with a strong focus on clinical excellence and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to both small animals and large animals (farm/equine depending on caseload).
  • Perform consultations diagnostics treatments and surgeries.
  • Attend to on-farm visits for routine work such as fertility checks herd health planning TB testing calvings and emergency visits.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records.
  • Deliver excellent communication and service to clients offering advice and follow-up care when needed.
  • Participate in a shared OOH (out-of-hours) rota if applicable.
  • Contribute to the continued development of clinical protocols and best practice standards.

    Requirements:

  • MRCVS qualified and registered to practice in the UK.
  • Confident working with both small animals and large animals (farm and/or equine experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and a caring client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (vehicle may be provided for work use).
